Seiko introduces its new Cocktail Time European & U.S. series, which is an exclusive series of timepieces. It features two versions of the Presage watches and the idea is inspired by Japan’s drinking culture — specifically, it is influenced by ‘nomunication hour.’ This is a word that derives from ‘portmanteau of nomu,’ which is to drink in Japanese and communicate in English.
It essentially is the word to describe the Japanese drinking tradition of discussing business with a few drinks. Both of the watches are made from stainless steel and defined by a gold tone along the dial and case. It retains a sultry tonal palette with indices and dauphine-style hands along the face and is finished with a 41-hour power reserve of 4R35 visible from the back.
